Lesboy Lore Explained!!
Tumblr media
People worry too much about how others identify. I promise it will NOT kill you if someone identifies as a lesboy. If you genuinely feel invalidated by them then thats something you should work on. Now im not saying you cant have your own opinion, but let’s be open minded here and lets respect them rather than hating on them. 🤷
From a proud lesboy to you, you are all valid! 💜🩷🧡🤍💜💙

Maybe a hot take, but:
You can be a lesbian, feel attracted to someone who doesn't identify with the label women, and still be a lesbian.
This applies to all sexuallities, too.
A straight boy at our school having a crush on us doesn't mean he's "secretly gay" because we're transmasc, it just means he's straight and attracted to our feminine features.
Another example:
A and B are dating. A is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. B is a lesbian. Them dating does not mean B is 'less' of a lesbian, nor does it mean A is 'less' of a nonbinary.

i don't feel nearly as ashamed or hesitant to talk about my queer tgirl attraction to men as my tguy brothers would feel talking about their attraction to women
obligatory "if you're a trans guy and your attraction to women is het, that's real and okay! your trans experience isn't a monolith and other trans people being different doesn't make you different or wrong"
like, think about it: hardly anyone bats an eye when a tgirl uses grindr or calls herself a faggot, but as soon as a man calls himself a lesbian, everyone gets on his ass. anything for an excuse to shit on lesbians, i guess. it makes me angry that nobody sees this hypocrisy or these ties back to the lesbian separatism that infected the community post-70s. it's not gone, it never went away
this isn't exactly profound news to anyone who gives a shit about lesbian history. just something i find interesting

The best thing you can do when you get replies, reblogs, asks, dms, etc. from exclusionists is to block them. It gets rid of their power, voice, and ability to fight what you say. Don’t let exclusionists get to you because at the end of the day they are just bigots and only want to get a rise out of you. Don’t try to educate them or even bother acknowledging their presence. Block them.

Also feel free to ask us questions about neurodivergence/mental health (including plurality) and alterhumanity!
(Obviously we aren't doctors but we have hyperfixated on these topics a lot and might be able to point you in the right direction. We are NOT diagnosing you, just giving you information of what you might consider looking into.)
Send us queer questions!
Are you struggling with your own identity? Are you looking for terms to describe your own or your character's identities/experiences? Or maybe you're just curious about a term?
Ask us about it, please! One of our special interests is queer identities & experiences! We have researched a ton of things extensively. Yes, even NSFW questions are fine!
Feel free to send asks about:
-Biological sex! This includes perisexuality & intersexuality (though you should check our guide if you haven't already).
-Sex identity! This includes transsex identities (altersex, transhormonal, transgenital, transreproductive, etc.)
-Gender identities, gender expression, and pronouns/titles! This includes all types of genders - feminine, masculine, androgynous, neutral, null, genderless, xenine, outherine, aporine, etc!
-Orientations & attraction! This includes any type of gendered attraction, a-spec identities, and all forms of attraction (aesthetic, platonic, familial, sensual, sexual, romantic, queerplatonic, alterous, waveric, etc)! It also includes objectum & auto-spec attraction!
-Relationship orientations! This includes ethical non-monogamy (polyamory, ambiamory, fluidamory, etc), nonamory, and so on!
Contradictory labels are safe here!
Mogai/liom labels are safe here!
All forms of neurodivergence (including paraphilic disorders, cluster B personality disorders, endogenic plurality, etc) are safe here!

Why some identity as a lesboy:
They're a gnc male and experience queer attraction to women
They're a gnc lesbian woman and don't mind being called a boy, male, man, etc
They're a trans lesbian woman reclaiming the misgendering she faces and/or doesn't feel misgendered by being called a boy
They're a trans male who has a queer attraction to women and doesn't feel misgendered by being called a lesbian and/or is dating a lesbian and doesn't feel misgendered by that and/or is reclaiming the misgendering he faces
They're a butch lesbian
They're a futch lesbian
They're a femme lesbian that just relates to the term
They're transmasc but not a male (transmasc nonbinary, transmasc agender, transmasc genderapathetic, etc)
They're multigender and don't wanna hide that sometimes they're a male or are always a male (genderfluid, bigender, trigender, pangender, etc)
They're intersex
They're cistrans
Or simply, someone male or masculine aligned having a queer attraction to women (and anything else I might have miseed)
What lesboys aren't:
That creepy dude trying to hit on you
Some guy saying, "I'm a lesbian too!" when he doesn't mean it
A cishet guy who knows his attraction to women isn't queer

Motherfuckers on TikTok will be saying "If trans men can be lesbians trans women can be gay" as a gotcha to me saying trans men can be lesbians and like ....did you think that was a valid gotcha moment? Because obviously I also support them?? Why would THAT be crossing a line for me? It's just the opposite version of lesboys.

I've gained a few followers recently, so it's time for:
Rent Lowering Gunshots
[Rent Lowering Gunshots]
cishet aroallos are valid. yes the men too. yes the minors too.
contradictory identities hurt nobody. no, lesboys are not invading your spaces.
men are not evil. men are capable of harm, yes, but so is everyone else.
by putting "men DNI" or "cishet men DNI" in your profile, you are creating an unsafe space for trans men. either they are not welcome in your sanitized queer space, or they must out themselves to be welcome. this goes double for closeted trans women.
all trans people experience oppression. yes even the men. we all deserve terms to talk about how oppression affects our specific group. transmisogyny and transandrophobia coexist.
hermaphrodite is a slur. against intersex people. don't use it. while i'm here, don't use futanari either.
animals are not 'biologically non-binary.' they are intersex. stop erasing intersex people.
AMAB and AFAB were created by and for the intersex community but have since been changed and distorted to the point where they are really not useful anymore. say what you mean instead of using agab language to sanitize your posts.
while I'm at it, TMA and TME is much the same. TMA does not mean transfemme, but has grown to be used in that way. if you use TMA/TME i am going to assume you are either a transandrophobe or intersexist, because that language is primarily used by those groups.
sex is not evil. neither are the words vagina, breasts or penis. if you censor yourself while making educational posts i do not trust your education.
censoring words by adding symbols is unhelpful at best and harmful at worst. i cannot filter out every tag that says inc3st, ince$t, !ncest, etc.
you are allowed to dislike things without them being morally wrong. stop trying to find fault with everything you dislike.
neurodivergence includes "weirdos." neurodivergence is not just autism and ADHD.
oh, and last but not least: you can talk about jewish people and antisemitism without talking about Palestine.

"wait but how can that work ?" instead of asking how their queer identity works, and how can it be valid, maybe ask them their experiences. ask how it feels to themself being a mspec mono, or lesboy, or turigirl, or whatever. instead of getting angry at queer identities which dont fit your standard, just perhaps let it go and ask them as a person what their identity means to them. stop policing identities and open up your mind a little.
